Monkeys In A Kitchen, c.1645 - Canvas Print

A rustic stone kitchen turns into a stage for mischief, as monkeys dressed in human finery smoke pipes, gather around clay jugs, and roast food over a glowing hearth. Warm browns, olive greens, and firelit amber fill the scene, with a feathered cap and red plume adding a playful spark of color. Painted by Flemish master David Teniers the Younger, Monkeys In A Kitchen brings old-world humor and charm to the wall art in a cozy dining room, den, or kitchen nook where a little whimsy feels right at home.

• By David Teniers the Younger, working in richly textured classic oil painting.

• Available as a canvas print, where the brushwork and texture come through.
