April 19 1941 Alignment Row Rows Dodge Army Trucks Jeeps Fort Dix NJ - Canvas Print

This archival black and white photograph lines up row after row of Dodge army trucks parked across the open yard at Fort Dix, their heavy-tread tires and ribbed grilles caught from a low angle that makes the nearest truck loom large. Bare winter trees and simple wooden buildings fill the background beneath a pale sky, grounding the scene in its 1941 moment. It's a striking piece of American military history, full of order and rhythm, and brings a grounded, patriotic character to a home office, den, or study.
