Miss La la at the Cirque Fernando, 1879 - Canvas Print

Looking straight up into the vaulted dome of a Parisian circus hall, an aerialist hangs suspended by a bit clamped in her teeth, her white and golden-yellow costume catching the theater light. Degas frames her against sweeping arches and iron beams rendered in terracotta, oxidized teal, and warm ochre, capturing the daring and spectacle of nineteenth-century entertainment. Miss La La at the Cirque Fernando brings a sense of drama and old-world theater to a room, making striking wall art for an entryway or reading nook with character to spare.
