Looking Into The Blue, 1918 - Canvas Print

Two vintage biplanes drift through an endless field of cobalt sky, one banking low in tan canvas wings and red-tipped detail, the other a distant silhouette trailing a thin ribbon of smoke. The vast blue backdrop gives this scene a quiet, open feeling, like watching history unfold from far above. Looking Into The Blue, 1918 brings a sense of calm adventure and old-world flight nostalgia to a study, office, or reading nook. This wall art piece by Frank Johnston pairs striking simplicity with a story of early aviation.
