Maura Reed - Canvas Prints

Calm and energy share the same canvas in Maura Reed’s abstract paintings. Reed works intuitively, layering texture, expressive gesture, and organic forms, then letting each painting evolve through process and discovery. Inspired by the rhythms of nature and music, personal experience, and the complexity of human emotion, she’s drawn to opposing forces: strength and vulnerability, movement and stillness. That tension settles into work that feels expressive and harmonious at once.
