
Dorothea Lange - Canvas Prints
Dorothea Lange (May 26, 1895-October 11, 1965) was an American photographer and photojournalist who documented the poor conditions of rural farmers and migrant workers during the Great Depression. Dorothea was employed by the Resettlement Administration from 1935-1939 who worked to help struggling farmers. Her work contributed to the development of documentary photography seen today. Her most striking and recognizable piece is titled " Migrant Mother" and was taken in 1936.
