Tess Deal

Before mixed-media abstract art, Tess Deal was a fashion design student, training at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and the University of North Carolina. That path ran through digital design, painted textiles, and jewelry before color and texture pulled her toward abstraction, shaped by a Floridian upbringing and a love of travel. Her work has appeared on Netflix and in Southern Living and Brides. She has also partnered with Special Spaces, creating artwork for children with cancer and other serious illnesses.
