Darkko is a french artist based in Paris. He uses light in a substractive way. With lighting, certain forms, faces or objects appear. For his illuminated paintings, Darkko draws the foundation on a software. He plays with shapes, fragments, filters and colors to create its workspace. Then, printing them on large plexiglass, he assembles them to his light system made of LEDS in a closed frame. In the end, the result is a real game of lights between contrast, shine and subtlety. His influences are multiple. It goes from the futurist Italian movement of the 30s to the pop art and street art movement.
