When Christine Olmstead was 18 months old her mother (a lifelong professional artist and graphic designer) gave her a set of watercolors. The paint set is long gone, but she's been painting ever since. She's studied art history and recreated all of the masterpieces to learn technique, stroke, and color palettes. She was privately tutored in fine charcoal and pencil drawing, as well as realism in oils. She is an internationally recognized artist with a bachelor's degree in classical liberal arts. Christine is mostly influenced by music and life experiences.
