We’ve been proud to work with artist TECHNODROME1 for years, and are thrilled to introduce his new Limited Edition artwork to iCanvas. A digital artist creating colorful pop culture portraits, some of his eclectic pieces are on display in hotels and more in Paris alongside Andy Warhol’s. His new prints bring even more rap, sports, and silver screen legends to his already impressive catalog.
Based in Brooklyn, his sometimes controversial artwork offers sharp yet chaotic vibes. Vibrantly saturated in a color scheme he explains as “acid”, many of his 43 Limited Edition prints are also layered with nostalgia. Drawing things from his childhood as a way to keep them alive, you’ll find psychedelic takes on characters from Sesame Street, Simpsons, Spongebob, and more. By adding his bold twists to these adolescent darlings, he creates a unique way for us adults to bring some play into our space.
Cartoon classics aren’t the only icons now available. From music to movies to the basketball court, he puts his dramatic spin on even more of our favorite famous faces. Sometimes accented by flames or hearts, his kaleidoscopic subjects are often juxtaposed against their clean, minimalist backdrops.
