Michele Tragakiss

Michele Tragakiss is a third-generation artist who blends geometric and linear elements of technical design with the organic, intuitive flow of abstract painting. Influenced by her mother's illustrations, she channels her belief in the connection between mind and universe into her creative process, weaving in subconscious interpretations of social and political issues. An advocate for human rights and the arts, she serves on the Board of Directors at The Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, CT.
