Bogdan Shiptenko

Inspired by nature walks, playing tennis, social interactions, rollerblading, music, movies, and urban cafes, Bogdan Shiptenko’s art reflects his perceptions of the environment and societal activities. His figurative paintings feature numerous characters, each living individually yet united in a common activity with a meaningful message. His early works in urban landscapes helped him master color relationships and the technical properties of watercolors, which he now employs in his subjects.
