Alec Huxley's art transports viewers to anti-gravity fantasies set in the urban landscapes of the US West Coast. Inspired by outer and inner space, film noir, and science fiction, his pieces feature figures drifting across detailed backdrops or awakening in neon wireframe dreams. Using photographs for reference, he outlines basic shapes before filling them out with acrylic paint and gloss varnish. His nocturnal encounters depict intrepid explorers facing incredible beasts in the dark void.
