Michael Petty IV

Residing in Washington, DC, Michael Petty IV creates oil paintings, acrylic paintings, and spray paintings of star athletes, popular musicians, and other famous icons. Ranging from legendary baseball players to incredible rockstars, he showcases faces that are beloved and commended.

Capturing the excitement of sports scenes uncommon to what is currently in the art community, he incorporates invigorating bursts of colors and subjects in actionable poses to reveal the true power behind each person. From a Martin Luther King portrait to the Sandman in action to Chris Cornell on guitar, we think his artwork can be a great way for a variety of fandoms to create a passionate atmosphere.

Karin Vermeer

Residing in Rotterdam, Karin Vermeer creates digital portraits of singers, models, and other female icons with graffiti elements. Starting her art because she was disturbed by the unrealistic way model’s photographs are manipulated, she combines “two worlds together, the digital and tangible”.

With layers added to magazine covers and splashes of color, she adds unexpected twists to faces and images we know and love. From pop explosions to Chanel No. 5 to Jane Fonda on Esquire, we think her artwork can be an interesting way to create a street art atmosphere with grunge vibes.

Robert Burcar

Residing in Los Angeles, Robert Burcar creates oil paintings, acrylic paintings, and gouache paintings of singers, actors, and other famous faces. Ranging from creepy portraiture to bright, smiling faces, he reveals each subjects’ personality and overall essence.

Inspired by his favorite horror films and pop culture icons, he incorporates colorful brushstrokes on top of portraits and a mix of legendary musicians and movie stars. From Janis Joplin with a cigarette to The Shining snow scene to the magic of Olivia Newton-John, we think his artwork can be an exciting way to help fandoms celebrate their favorites with a burst of energy.
