David Shepherd

David Shepherd creates ethereal hyperrealism paintings of women’s eyes and faces surrounded by flowers. First influenced by Rembrandt and Salvador Dalí, his subjects’ identities are often hidden, leaving room for the “viewer to fill in a story, and appreciate each model regardless of who they are.” From reshaping yourself to the end of summer to dark sparkles, we think his artwork can be a wonderful way to create a dreamy and intimate atmosphere. If his beautiful art looks familiar, you may have seen his work exhibited internationally and recognized by The Oil Painters Of America, The Artist Magazine, The Art Renewal Center, and more.

Nynke Kuipers

Based in Amsterdam, Nynke Kuipers creates acrylic paintings and mixed media art of animals, trees, and nature scenes. Often incorporating collage elements, they describe their work as “playful and humorous”. From wolves at night to Sunday walks to squirrels in trees, we think their artwork can be a great way to create a lighthearted and layered atmosphere.

Somnmigratory Studio

St. Johnsbury-based artist Somnmigratory Studio creates mixed media art, collage art, and digital art of people and animals in dreamy flower fields and other places. Traversing across the mysterious and familiar, she pulls us into far away yet comforting worlds. From preparing for spring to firefly hills to a beekeeper’s daughter, we think her artwork can be a lovely way to create an imaginative and poetic atmosphere.
