Based in Hoosick, New York, Evan Wilson creates realism paintings of flower still lifes and women. Inspired by his visits to Alabama, he takes ordinary objects and scenes and makes them elegant. From peacock kimonos to afternoon tea to grandmother’s porch, we think his artwork can be a wonderful way to create a dreamy and nostalgic atmosphere.

Atlanta, Georgia-based artist Abra Johnson creates paintings of food and mason jar still lifes. Evoking nostalgia and comfort, she focuses on maintaining a fine line between photorealism and loose realism.
