5 Questions With Peniel Enchill

Peniel Enchill creates digital art depicting, celebrating, and inspiring Black women. An artist of Ghanaian descent, her lifestyle illustrations showcase fashion, family, and friendship. Capturing stylish subjects in life’s tender, proud, and everyday moments, her chic yet emotional prints are captivating.

Predominantly raised in Britain, her love of art and its lack of representation kickstarted her journey into creation. Rocking everything from elegant gowns and coordinated outfits to camouflage and stylish bikinis, her diverse fashion illustrations seem to glow physically and spiritually. Whether they show running errands or having high tea conversations, her prints are a beautiful way to help dress up your space.

While all of Enchill’s creations feature good fashion, some focus more attention on relationships and life accomplishments. From feeling on top of the world on graduation day and five-generation family portraits to showcasing the feeling of Black fatherhood and the often overlooked “rainbow mom,” her depictions include a range of experiences across life’s journey. Making her intimate artwork a great way for fashion lovers to bring some warmth and emotion to their spaces.
