Oedipus And The Sphinx, 1808 - Canvas Print

Oedipus leans into the shadowed mouth of a cavern, his bare form caught in warm light as he studies the winged Sphinx crouched in the dark. Bones litter the ground beneath him, and a distant figure flees toward the pale sky, but his gaze stays fixed and unshaken. Painted in rich ochre and umber with a flash of terracotta red, Oedipus And The Sphinx captures the quiet nerve of a mind facing down a mystery. This wall art brings weight and intellect to a study, library, or reading nook.
