Bitten Clown - Canvas Print

This vertical watercolor portrait draws the eye straight to a pair of luminous, icy blue eyes set in a pale, striking face. Jet-black hair swept into side buns and an elaborate pleated collar in soft slate and charcoal frame the figure, while a bloom of crimson bleeds across her lips like smeared clown makeup or something more sinister. Fluid washes and delicate salt-textured grays give Bitten Clown an eerie, theatrical hush. This piece from Cris James suits a moody study, a gallery wall of curiosities, or anywhere your wall art should feel a little haunted.
