Bees - Canvas Print

A striking face meets you head on, violet eyes steady beneath a wash of turquoise-teal hair. Fine botanical line work traces her collarbone like delicate tattoos, while a trail of honeybees drifts from her throat up past her temple, dissolving into a smoky, blush-toned haze. The wet-on-wet washes give the whole piece a soft, dreamlike edge, equal parts tender and a little haunting. Bees by Cris James brings a moody, storybook energy to a reading nook, hallway, or any wall art collection that leans toward the unexpected.
