Making Your Space iCanvas

Introducing Limited-Edition Frames Designed to Match Your Wall Art | iCanvas

Most frames are an afterthought. Whatever’s standard, whatever’s on hand, whatever’s close enough to the art it’s holding.

iCanvas is changing that with Frame Studio Editions, a new limited-edition frame addition to our paper prints, built around a simple idea: the frame shouldn’t just hold the art. It should be part of it.

A Frame With the Pattern Built In

Every Frame Studio Edition starts with a pattern printed directly into the frame’s molding using UV-cured inks, not painted on or applied as a separate finish. The result is a frame with real color and detail that won’t fade, peel, or wear thin over time.

The printing is only half the story, though. Each pattern is created around one specific curated art collection, so the frame isn’t a decision you make separately from the art. It’s built to match from the start, which means what arrives on your wall is one finished piece.

Frame Studio Editions currently spans these style categories:

The Dopamine Edit

Bold color, bold shapes, zero hesitation. This edit is for the rooms that are meant to make you smile the second you walk in.

Starburst Pop

Featured Prints: “Shit” by Pepino de Mar and “Mean Cake I” by Galactixy Illustrations

Playful and unapologetically bold, Starburst Pop brings a zigzag pattern that feels handmade and a little rebellious. It’s suited to spaces that don’t take themselves too seriously, a craft room, a creative studio, anywhere the art is meant to spark a reaction.

Geo Play

Featured Prints: “Love Soup” by Chromoeye and “Bang!” by Alisa Galitsyna

Bold, graphic, and full of color. Geo Play pairs a checkerboard-inspired pattern with pop art pieces that don’t hold back, the kind of frame that turns a gallery wall into a statement instead of a formality. It works best in a space that already has some personality, where the art and the frame are meant to be noticed together.

The Floral Edit

Soft botanicals and rich, storied patterns bring warmth and romance to a space. These frames pair naturally with pieces that lean traditional, vintage, or quietly elegant.

Flourish & Floral

A soft, romantic botanical pattern, Flourish & Floral brings a gentle, garden-fresh feel to any wall. The delicate detail adds warmth without ever feeling heavy-handed, a quiet complement to whatever art it’s paired with.

Indigo Garden

Featured Prints: “Pearly White Cranes I” by Eva Watts and “Chinoiserie Flamingos On Pink With Ginger Jar” by Green Orchid Boutique

A chinoiserie-inspired pattern in deep indigo and white, Indigo Garden pairs naturally with traditional and transitional spaces. It’s the frame for pieces with real detail, cranes, peonies, botanicals, the kind of art that benefits from a frame with its own sense of craft rather than disappearing into the background.

The Minimalist Edit

Simple shapes and quiet patterns let the art do the talking. These frames add subtle interest without ever competing for attention.

Modern Monochrome

Featured Prints: “Fan Brush II” by June Erica Vess and “Nature In The Abstract” by Statement Goods

A crisp, graphic pattern gives Modern Monochrome real precision without feeling busy. It reads more like a considered detail than a decorative flourish. A natural fit for spaces built around a more architectural or pared-back aesthetic.

Organic Forms

abstract colorful artwork in colorful frames
Featured Prints: “Deconstructed Landscape II” by Jan Weiss and “Yellow Jug” by Elena Shraibman

A soft, natural rhythm runs through Organic Forms, quiet and grounding without ever tipping into busy. It’s minimalism with a little more warmth to it, built for rooms that lean earthy or sun-washed.

Want a Different Pairing?

If none of the curated collections feel like the right match, Frame Studio Editions patterns are also available on any custom paper print order. That means you can pair a Frame Studio Editions design with art of your own choosing, whether that’s a piece you already love or something new. It also makes for a distinctive gift, since the sizing skews smaller and more room-friendly than an oversized statement piece, so you can give real wall art without guessing whether it’ll fit.

It’s Not Your Regular Frame

Most patterned frames are a finish, a paint color, or a hand-applied treatment layered onto a frame you then have to pair with your own art. Frame Studio Editions works differently. The pattern is printed into the frame itself, engineered around a specific piece from the start, so what you’re buying is a single object, not an assembly of separate decisions.
