Two Horses And A Groom, 1880 - Canvas Print

A groom in a cadet blue jacket and scarlet kepi sits astride a dark bay horse, steadying a gleaming chestnut companion beside him. Loose, energetic brushstrokes build the earthy tobacco browns and warm ochres of the animals' coats against a hazy sage and turquoise landscape. Two Horses And A Groom, 1880 captures a quiet moment of cavalry duty and old-world companionship. This piece of wall art brings a scholarly, timeworn charm to a study, library, or den with traditional leanings.
