About the Artist
Taylor Smith
Taylor Smith's art is an exploration of contemporary society, blending personal experiences, pop culture, and technology in her Luxurious Disaster series. Working with acrylic, oil, collage, and mixed media, Smith critiques consumerism, wealth, and societal values, drawing on digital culture and glitched imagery to highlight impermanence and the rapid pace of technological change. Influenced by her parents' battles with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, Smith's art reflects deeper emotional layers.
