The Runaway Thing - Canvas Print

A retro diner counter turns sideways when a rugged stranger in a bomber jacket and sunglasses finds himself flanked by slithering, tentacled creatures instead of the usual small-town crowd. Dave MacDowell paints the scene with tight, illustrative detail and a nostalgic cream-and-navy palette, nodding to a beloved Americana classic while flipping it into cult horror satire. A calm husky waits below, unfazed by the chaos above. The Runaway Thing brings sharp wit and cinematic nostalgia to a den, bar, or media room where movie buffs gather. This wall art rewards a second and third look.
