The Hireling Shepherd, 1851 - Canvas Print

A shepherd leans close to a red-haired maiden in a sunlit meadow, her crimson skirt bright against the grass as she cradles a lamb and he offers a captured moth. Behind them the flock strays toward a golden wheat field and distant hills, rendered with the crisp botanical detail and jewel-toned color Hunt was known for. The Hireling Shepherd brings a warm, storybook romance to the room, ideal wall art for a living room or reading nook where its rustic charm and rich color can settle in slowly.
