Sweet Cherry - Canvas Print

A songbird rests on a cherry-laden branch in Sweet Cherry, its feathers built from rich cross-hatched lines that echo woodcut printmaking. Behind it, a mosaic of fuchsia and coral tiles gives way to stylized white botanical linework against a bold magenta ground, while plump red cherries and olive leaves fill the branch below. The handcrafted, folk-art feel brings a cheerful jolt of summer color to a kitchen, breakfast nook, or reading corner where pattern and nature can share the spotlight. Lynnette Shelley's layered mixed media style turns a simple bird-on-branch scene into something worth lingering over.
