Sophiathe Wisdom Of The Almighty, 1932 - Canvas Print

A blazing sky fills the upper reaches of this painting, where a haloed rider on a galloping horse sweeps through clouds of fire and amber light, banner raised high above a quiet walled city below. The contrast between the celestial fury above and the still, glowing citadel beneath gives the scene a sense of epic reverence. Painted in Nicholas Roerich's mythic, symbol-laden style, Sophia the Wisdom of the Almighty brings a note of quiet grandeur to a study or meditation space, where its warm tones and spiritual depth can be sat with slowly.
