About the Artist
Alison Philpotts
Alison Philpotts draws inspiration from the boundless energy and vibrant colors of the natural world. With bold strokes and a deeply painterly style, she employs unique color palettes, capturing the essence of landscapes with unmatched fervor. Working from photographs, she eschews traditional sketching in favor of layering paint to achieve her desired effect. Beyond the canvas, Philpotts donates paintings annually to both local animal rescue efforts and adolescent addiction recovery clinics.
