About the Artist
Maria Tuzhilkina
Maria Tuzhilkina is an artist whose work is deeply inspired by the vibrant nature of Tenerife, capturing the essence of its endemic tropical plants, local gastronomy, and the Atlantic Ocean. Working primarily in acrylic, Tuzhilkina embraces geometric cubism to deconstruct objects into geometric shapes, emphasizing how color and form influence each other. Her unique perspective transforms landscapes, still lifes, and botanical subjects into vivid, dynamic compositions.
