Matteis Tavern - Canvas Print

A folk art scene unfolds with charm and detail, from the black steam locomotive puffing beside the rails to horse-drawn carriages arriving at the whitewashed Matteis Tavern. Townsfolk, children, and a dog gather near the tracks while rolling hills, a windmill, and patterned farmland stretch into the distance under a warm palette of barn red, forest green, and golden yellow. Matteis Tavern by Heronim brings a nostalgic slice of early California life to any space, making it a fitting piece of wall art for a den, entryway, or reading nook filled with storytelling charm.
