Mares And Foals Disturbed By An Approaching Storm, 1764-66 - Canvas Print

A herd of mares and foals gathers in an open riverside pasture as slate-gray storm clouds roll across the horizon. Rich chestnut and bay coats catch the light against olive fields and calm water, with each horse rendered in graceful, anatomically precise detail. There's a quiet tension in the air, that hushed moment before weather turns, paired with an enduring sense of pastoral elegance. Mares And Foals Disturbed By An Approaching Storm brings this classic George Stubbs scene into any space as wall art, especially well suited to a study, library, or formal living room.
