About the Artist
Mary Hubley
Mary Hubley captures the beauty of landscapes, outdoor nature scenes, cars, boats, marsh critters, and figures. Hubley draws inspiration from walks in the woods, country rides, and trips to the harbor, focusing on the small details in the landscape, such as fish in streams, garden paths, and the interplay of sunlight and shadow on tree trunks. Her impressionistic paintings are realistic at their core, but her skilled brushwork and palette knife techniques add rugged edges and lively details.
