Faithful unto Death, 1865 - Canvas Print

A Roman soldier holds his post beneath a stone archway while chaos unfolds behind him, ash and fire raining down on the fleeing city beyond. Bronze armor catches the last flickers of light as bodies and broken pottery litter the street, but his gaze stays fixed upward, steady and unflinching. Faithful unto Death captures duty in its rawest form, the calm within catastrophe. This wall art brings gravity and quiet strength to a study, library, or reading room where its story rewards a longer look.
