Early Studies In Pneumatic Music - Canvas Print

A gaunt nobleman in a wide ruff collar and mustard doublet cradles a howling ginger cat like a bagpipe, blowing solemnly into its arched tail against a deep burgundy backdrop. Early Studies In Pneumatic Music takes the gravitas of old Renaissance portraiture and twists it into deadpan absurdity, the painterly layering and rich earth tones giving the joke real weight. It's a piece that rewards a second look, ideal for a study, library, or any wall that could use a little wit. Mikhail Baranovskiy's wall art turns classical formality on its head with a straight face.
