About the Artist
Jim Nonas
Jim Nonas channels childhood inspiration from Saturday morning cartoons and Star Wars into imaginative, collage_based works bursting with color and personality. A self_taught artist, he transforms magazine clippings into layered depictions of animals, florals, seascapes, and cityscapes, each rich with texture and contrast. Every piece tells a story, often hiding subtle images or phrases within the design. Nonas approaches each blank canvas as an open world of possibility, blending nostalgia, creativity, and personal narrative.
