Demon Cast Down, 1902 - Canvas Print

A fallen figure sprawls across a jagged mountain ridge, its shattered wings still catching hints of peacock blue among the wreckage. Painted in faceted, mosaic-like strokes of slate blue, charcoal, and oxidized bronze, Demon Cast Down channels the mythic sorrow of a being brought low against a vast, pale sky. It's a piece that carries weight and drama into a room, well suited to a study, library, or any wall built for quiet, brooding contemplation. Mikhail Aleksandrovich Vrubel's wall art brings a sense of tragic grandeur to the space it inhabits.
