David - Canvas Print

A single banana curves against a flat cobalt background, its peel transformed into a witty canvas for Michelangelo's David rendered in bold black linework. The natural brown speckling of the fruit doubles as shading for the classical figure's contrapposto pose, turning a humble piece of produce into a clever nod to art history. Bright yellow and rich blue play off each other with graphic punch, giving David a playful, pop art edge. This piece brings a dose of tongue-in-cheek humor to a kitchen, gallery wall, or creative studio space, and works well as a conversation-starting piece of wall art.
