Burb to Urb - Canvas Print

An hourglass anchors this black and white photomontage, its upper chamber holding a quiet countryside of rolling hills that pours through the narrow neck and reshapes itself into a dense skyline of skyscrapers below. Rendered in crisp monochrome with deep shadow and silver light, Burb to Urb turns the passage of time into something you can watch happen. It's a striking, conversation-starting piece of wall art for a study, office, or reading nook where a little contemplation is welcome. Thomas Barbey's surreal vision rewards a long, second look.
