A Scene on the Ice near a Town, c.1615 - Canvas Print

A frozen waterway stretches wide beneath a pale grey sky, alive with skaters, sledders, and townsfolk bundled in brick red and rust against the winter chill. Brick buildings and bare, spindly trees line the shore while the crowd's small figures chronicle a whole community at play on the ice. A Scene on the Ice near a Town captures Dutch Golden Age life with quiet warmth, and this wall art brings that same sense of gathering and season to a study, den, or long hallway wall.
