Novi Lim found their most true and liberated self in exploring the beauty of ambiguity. They use art as a therapeutic way to be in their own element, as a safe haven from the world. Their attention is drawn to the overlooked, the secret, the ominous, the unthinkable. They employ several different techniques in their work including the atmospheric use of contrasting light and dark, transparency, fluid thread of colors, and wispy brush marks, working with mostly acrylic, pastel, and enamel.
