Kim Xu was born into a family of painters and was taught to paint by his grandfather. Combining traditional Chinese watercolor techniques and Western-style oil-based techniques, the images of women in Kim’s work are independent and elegant, representing confidence, beauty, and a fearless attitude. In the past 14 years, Kim has had multiple solo exhibitions all over the world, such as Germany, USA, Singapore and Dubai, and has collaborated with brands like Harvey Nichols, Vogue, and ArtRepublik.
